Keep up the good work Craig and Anett, I have followed you both a bit on you tube and Facebook, my wife Judy and I bought a CX3 Pro back in November 2022 from the Brisbane yard, it is the same model as yours, I like yourself have had a few issues with it but nothing I couldn’t fix myself. I noticed some of the issues you have had are common as I have had similar, mains water pressure connector split inside not long after we bought it, as I was 600k’s from Brisbane at the time, I pulled it apart myself and found it to be cheap crap from China so sourced a new one with pressure reducer, we’ve done a heap of mods to suite our setup and upgraded stuff that was done on the cheap, it’s getting to where we are happy with it, they are a good solid van with a great layout, just poorly fitted out, we are always looking at ideas to lighten the load so as to add improvements to suite us, so far we have removed a spare wheel and made a bbq table that swings around near the kitchen, saves taking 2 tables, a hose bag also hangs off it when travelling, installed a rock deflector on draw bar and store step ladder behind it, took top 3 drawer linings out from inside and made light shelves with fold down doors reducing weight by about 15kg’s, rather have 15kg’s in extra clothes than timber, made a shelf under lounge for winter clothes storage and under bed compartment for shoes to separate from wiring, cut access door into water pump compartment for easier access, fixed awning braces better into wall as rivets came out, took small drawer out from under kitchen to fit pots and pans (was a lot of wasted room under there), took generator slide out to fit stuff better (also extra wasted weight), fit shower taps and set to back of van under ensuite cover to access/adjust easier when showering, also shower curtain and dry shelf in internal ensuite, mounted max tracks under ensuite hatch out of the road, and installed shelf in kitchen above stove/sink for a bit more pantry space, plus a lot more little adjustments and improvements, I would have spent the last 2 1/2 years back and forth to Brisbane for warranty work and not enjoying our time on the road if I didn’t fix them myself.
Hope I haven’t bored you with all our little improvements but thought I’d reach out and share a few innovations that makes our times exploring our great country easier.
Next on my list is suspension upgrade (shocks and springs) ours are still pretty good but for peace of mind, and upgrading to decent battery management system (Redarc manager 30), doing a bit of research on it now as will need to be fitted by a licensed auto elecky (for insurance cover)
As I said, keep up the good work helping other SV owners out with repairs and faults as they only have the slack after sales service that they can’t rely on, it’s a shame as these vans can be excellent value if you are a bit handy in doing your own repairs/improvements.

Great list of modifications, Anett and I always say “everyone camps differently” so it’s good to be able to complete little (or big) modifications that make your setup perfect for you. Thanks for your kind words, we are a little preoccupied with life in WA at the moment and still waiting for an insurance decision on our van repairs after losing a wheel on our way through southern WA. Looking forward to getting back on the road at some stage though.
